Workshop in Ghana

Discover drumming, dancing and the diversity of West Africa: cultural treasures, fascinating tropical landscapes and the vibrancy of the Ghanaian way of life!

Workshop in Keteke Centre
Experience the "Gold Coast" of West Africa. You will have an active holiday with dancing and drumming, but also with enough time for relaxation and reflection. For refreshment between instruction periods, the ocean beckons and the beach is located only minutes away. A planned weekend outing will take you into the surrounding area. Alongside the group undertakings, you will have plenty of time for individual activities of your choice. For example, you could explore one of the vibrant markets in the capital city Accra.

Courses
The courses include instruction in drumming and dancing - also conducted by other teachers from the area. You will play the Kpanlogo, a typical Ghanaian drum, as well as other percussion instruments. In addition to traditional dances you will learn choreography to modern African music.

Travel arrangements
Travel arrangements are made by the participants themselves. You will be picked up at the airport. A vaccination against Yellow Fever is required for travel in Ghana.
